We’ve recently engaged a client who is looking to streamline a number of process for multiple entities. One of the main hurdles is that their HQ handles a number of consolidating tasks in their QB files whether it be data entry or reporting. When they initially brought us in and mentioned their reporting needs I immediately thought of QQube by Clearify. This tool has a great Multi-Company add in which allows for reporting across any number of QB files using report writers such as Crystal Reports. The main goal of course is automation so explaining to the client that after the initial setup and sync, the tool will automatically sync data on a nightly basis was essential to them moving forward. While discussing this another issue came up, the need to streamline their data entry from their custom POS software into QB. In the next few posts we will be discussing the tools we used to take on this project and the hurdles to completing the implementation.
